To charge the V3 internal battery from bicycle dynamo
1. Connect the PP+ cable to the PP+ hub or bottle dynamo.
2. Select the Nokia adapter and insert it into the socket on the PP+ cable
3. Insert the PP+ cable into the DC IN socket on the V3 (Solar)
4. Begin pedaling, the DC IN led will glow red to show that the internal battery is being charged
5. When the V3 internal battery is fully charged the DC IN led will glow green or flash
To charge your mobile phone or other small appliance from the V3
1. Insert the phone cable into the DC OUT (Charge) socket on the V3
2. Insert the appropriate adapter into the phone cable
3. Insert the adapter into your mobile phone
4. The DC OUT led will glow to show that your phone is being charged
5. When the DC OUT led stops glowing the V3 internal battery is depleted and should be recharged immediately
NB Always check that your connection is good as the DC OUT led will not glow if the connection is bad
To charge the V3 internal battery from solar energy
1. Open the V3 and face the solar panels towards the sun.
2. The DC IN led (Solar) will glow to show the internal battery is being charged
3. When the V3 internal battery is fully charged the DC IN led will glow green
To charge the V3 and your phone at the same time, perform both actions together
To use the flashlight function simply press the flashlight button, the flashlight led will glow
To change to flashing sequences on the flashlight press the flashlight button again
To switch off the flashlight function, press and hold the flashlight button for 15 seconds
