SIC Guideline

Charge the internal battery of the SIC from mains electricity

1. Locate the weatherproof rubber flap on the side of the enclosure of the SIC

2. Open the weatherproof flap to reveal the mini USB charging port. Connect the mains adapter to this port and switch the mains on.

3. Select the mini USB charging cable and connect the SIC to mains or to your PC. Note the USB led will light green when charging.

4. To see how much charge is in the internal battery, disconnect the charging cable and press the ON/OFF switch to light the status led’s, continue charging until all the status led’s are brightly lit. Replace the rubber flap when charging is finished.

Connect your device to the SIC by using the correct adapter and press the ON/OFF switch to ON, the status led’s will light and begin charging your device.

Charge a phone from the SIC internal battery when riding

Connect your device to the SIC by using the correct adapter and press the ON/OFF switch to ON, the status led’s will light and begin charging your device.
Begin riding, the charge from the dynamo is collected in the internal battery of the SIC, and the battery transfers it’s a charge to the device.

Charge phone from the SIC when riding

Connect your device to the SIC by using the correct adapter and have the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position, the status led’s will not be lit.
Begin riding, the charge from the dynamo passes through the SIC to your phone. The green HUB led will light, if your device is very flat the HUB led may not light as all the power will be going to your device.

SPECIAL NOTE
  • iPhone users must use the SIC in the ON position whenever charging is required.
