How to charge your device through the Super-i-Cable (SIC) while riding your bike?
  1. Connect the Super-i-Cable (SIC) to your bicycle hub, or bottle dynamo to ensure that the cable is secured safely to the bike.
  2. Select the correct adapter to fit into your device from the set provided and insert it into the SIC socket.
  3. Connect the SIC to your device.
  4. Place the On/Off switch to the Off position ** iPhone users must place the On/Off switch to the ON position**.
  5. Start riding, the bicycle hub charging led will light and your device will begin charging. If the battery in your device is very flat the bicycle hub charging led might not light straight away as all the power will be going directly to your device.
  6. Continue riding to fully charge your device.
  7. iPhone users must place the On/Off switch to the Off position when finished (no LEDs are lit).

  1. Connect the SIC to an external power source (mains, computer, solar) using the mini USB socket under the weatherproof flap on the side of the SIC.
  2. Place the On/Off switch to the On position, the battery status led’s will light.
  3. Continue external charging until the internal battery of the SIC is fully charged.
  4. Place the On/Off switch to the Off position when finished (no LEDs are lit).
How to change the internal battery of the SIC?
  1. Locate the two holding screws under the two rubber seals at the back panel of the SIC enclosure.
  2. Use a small screwdriver to remove the screws.
  3. Disassemble the enclosure carefully noting how it comes apart, the enclosure snap-fits as well as having the screws.
  4. Locate and take note of the orientation of the battery, remove the battery.
  5. Replace the battery with a PROTECTED, RECHARGEABLE, 18650 BATTERY INTO THE SAME ORIENTATION. (DO NOT USE ANY OTHER TYPE OF BATTERY)
  6. Press the On/Off switch to make sure that the connection to the battery is working, the status led’s will light.
  7. Reassemble the enclosure and secure the screws.
  8. Dispose of the old battery thoughtfully.
